Beech Hill Blueberry Free Pick

Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust for a weekend of picking free blueberries! Our organic blueberry fields are open to you to pick as many berries as you can. Bring a picnic and take a tour of Beech Nut, the historic stone hut on top of the Beech Hill Preserve. Saturday is open to our current members only, and Sunday is open to all! Anyone is welcome to make a membership donation at our registration table to join the fun on Saturday.

Penobscot Bay Rendezvous 2012

Last year's inaugural event was a smashing success! Presented by Wayfarer Marine and Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding, the 2012 Penobscot Bay Rendezvous, August 16-19st will once again be Maine's most exciting sail and powerboat regatta of the season. Super yachts, to classics to performance racers, passagemaking power cruisers, Picnic Boats and lobster yachts are invited to enter. The Penobscot Bay Rendezvous is a celebration of boating and boatbuilding. Featuring daily races for sailboats and a Poker Run and Photo Pursuit events for powerboats, the participants will be hosted each night at a different exclusive venue. Lobster bakes, barbeques, dancing and fireworks are all a part of the ticket. Join us!

Toboggan National Championships

Every year the Toboggan Nationals boast a field of 400 teams and nearly 1,300 racers, with a spectator base of more than 5,000 over two days of heated competition. Without fail, the limited number of team slots annually sells out and the crowds of spectators makes the Ragged Mountain Recreation Area the most popular place to be each February.
